The Instructor Norma Kira lives in Hawai`i where she earned a Masters of European Languages at the University of Hawai`i in 1981 and a Masters of Public Health in 1998. She was born in France to Catalan parents. Seven years before her birth during the Spanish civil war, her parents became political refugees in France. As a child, she spoke Catalan at home with her nuclear family. She used Spanish on the farm to communicate with a number of hired migrant workers from Spain. Residing in France, French was the language she spoke outside of the farm gates, and the language she studied through elementary and high school. How do I Order?
