The Ahn Trio in Concert

Described by some as “Chamber Music Meets MTV,“ these three sisters from Korea have dazzled audiences around the world, earning rave reviews from the Washington Post, AUDIO Magazine, and the Los Angeles Times. In a special Honolulu performance, celebrating the centennial of Korean immigration to Hawaii and the United States, the Ahn Trio will perform both classical and contemporary pieces for island families and music lovers. The concert will also feature pieces from their new album, "Groovebox," which drops Oct. 22 (the day after their Honolulu performance).

There will be two performances at Neil Blaisdell Concert Hall on Oct. 21: an abbreviated show at 11 a.m. for school groups and students at a discounted price ($15), and a full evening program at 7 p.m. (tickets range from $27-$57).
