HONOLULU (30 July 2002) — Lacene Terri, candidate for Hawai`i State Senate District 23 (Kane`ohe to Kawela Bay) — joined Republican candidate for Governor Linda Lingle in Kahuku for the first in a series of neighborhood talkstory sessions.

Hundreds of Windward O`ahu residents filled the Kahuku High School cafeteria Tuesday night, where they enjoyed a free bento dinner and live local entertainment, including music, hula, and a fire dance.

Lingle outlined her vision for the future of Hawaii, then answered several questions from the audience. Meanwhile, Terri was able to meet one-on-one with people and discuss the issues most important to them.
