HONOLULU (4 September 2002) � Beginning today, island voters will be able to bring Lacene Terri into their homes, as `Olelo Community Television (Oceanic Cable VIEWS Channel 54) begins airing "Candidates In Focus."

`Olelo offered seven minutes of unedited free air time for all candidates in Statewide races and those running for seats on O`ahu. Lacene Terri's segment will air as part of "Candidates In Focus" Group 2, which includes races to represent neighborhoods from Mililani Mauka to portions of He`eia. Airtimes for Group 2 are as follows:

• Wednesday, Sept. 4, 6:30 a.m.
• Friday, Sept. 6, 12:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Sept. 10, 7:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Sept. 11, 12:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Sept. 17, 6:30 a.m.

`Olelo will then run a "Candidates In Focus" marathon of all participating candidates beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, to run until 7 a.m. on the morning of the Primary (Sept. 21).

Digital cable subscribers can enjoy "Candidates In Focus" at their convenience on Oceanic's iControl Video on Demand (Digital Channel 110).
